Emotional fitness is the ability to adapt to any circumstance in a way that benefits you. So you are the one controlling your emotions not the other way around. It is a state of mind that enables you to become more aware of your thoughts and feelings. It allows you to avoid emotional hijacking because you can’t control your reaction. Emotional fitness is the ability to recognise, understand and manage our emotions and that of others. This means being aware that emotions can drive our behavior and impact people in a positive and negative manner.
